The Day of the Integration Enterprises of Navarre (DIE) of the year 2019 will be celebrated on October 29 in Estella-Lizarra with the award ceremony of recognition to socially responsible Navarre entities.
The Day of the Integration Enterprises of Navarre had its first edition in 2018 in Tudela. In it, the municipalities of Corella and Zizur Mayor were recognized in addition to the Commonwealth of the Pamplona Region. This second edition will take place in Estella-Lizarra, in order to also promote in this region the development of these resources. This is an annual meeting, held in the last quarter of the year in which the results and impact of the SIEs in Navarra are communicated in general, with the participation of different speakers that promote the development of social economy companies and in specifically the SIEs in Navarra. The novelty that this year arises for this day is the exhibition of a sculpture in the shape of 6% that represents the percentage of reserve of public contracts required by the Public Contract Foral Law. The sculpture includes a poster announcing the event and the direction of the EINA website, seeking with this action a social reflection on the social economy and the work of the insertion companies. This representation will be located in a square in the center of Estella-Lizarra until the day takes place. The purpose of this action is to generate curiosity and expectation about citizenship and raise their interest in the social economy, encouraging them to learn about the subject by consulting the informative materials that can be found in the section on social economy of the EINA website.
The day will take place at the music school, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and will be conducted by an artistic clown whose performance will serve to convey in a pleasant way the values and operation of the insertion companies, the reserve of contracts in the framework of the social economy to attendees. The event will be attended by the mayor of Estella-Lizarra, the managing director of the Navarre’s Employment Service-Nafar Lansare, the counselor of the Department of Social Rights of the Government of Navarre and the representatives of the entities recognized for their social responsibility. The event is funded by the Navarre’s Employment Service through the call for dissemination actions of the social economy.
