Meeting of the 6 families of CEPES Navarra with the Presidency of the Government of Navarra.

On June 17 a meeting took place between the 6 families of CEPES Navarra and the Presidency of the Government of Navarra. EINA mentioned the need to apply the law, the 6% contract reserve for social integration enterprises and especial jobs centers as a proposal for the plan to reactivate Navarra through the Social Economy model.

President Chivite and Vice President Ramírez received CEPES Navarra’s delegation in the General Archive of Navarra. This meeting was a meeting for the government to hear from the representatives of the 6 families the proposals contained in the document sent by CEPES Navarra entitled “proposals from the social economy to the plan to reactivate Navarra” which includes the proposals from the economy sector for the economic reactivation of Navarra after the health crisis caused by COVID-19.

On behalf of EINA, President Eduardo Sanz stressed the need to develop the 6% contract reserve provided by law as the best way to guarantee the viability and continuity of service offered by insertion companies in Navarra, and showed their concern about the abusive application of the social reserve clauses in execution by the public administration, since they complicate the execution of public contracts both for ordinary companies and for insertion companies and special employment centers, and also not they contribute to the application of the contract reserve, as many officials mistakenly consider. It was urged that, from the presidency of the Government of Navarra, the issue of the reservation of contracts be addressed and that this vision be transmitted to each department. This proposal was supported by the CEISNA Association, which signed the words of the President of EINA. The executive was also thanked for his efforts to approve the modification of the Provincial Decree that regulates insertion companies. In the same way, he took the opportunity to inform the president that this year’s Social Economy Day is organized by the families of EINA and REAS, and is scheduled to be held in Geltoki in late October and early November. The President was invited to attend and participate in the event. Although it was a meeting to listen to families, to end, the government briefly commented that the Reactivation Plan of Navarra consists of two thematic branches on which the planned measures indicate: sustainability and technology. The social economy and its proposals would be framed in the sustainability part.
